Shay Wins WIAC Defensive Player Of The Week

Senior midfielder Caroline Shay of the Colorado College women’s lacrosse team was named the Wisconsin Intercollegiate Athletic Conference Defensive Player of the Week, announced on April 9th. The Denver native was all over the field in a 2-0 weekend for the Tigers. She surpassed 100 career draw controls after collecting six against UW Stout on April 7. Shay is the 11th player in Colorado College history to accomplish that mark. On April 5, Shay caused a season-high three turnovers and finished the weekend with four after another on April 7.
