Softball Drops Two Despite Records, Comebacks

The Muhlenberg softball team came back twice in the second game of its home doubleheader but lost to Ursinus, 7-3. The Mules (16-11, 3-5) allowed a run in the first inning and played from behind the whole game into the bottom of the fifth, when senior Sophia Cicchetti singled with one out to extend her hitting streak to 22 games. The next batter, freshman Peri Kahn , faked a bunt and chopped the ball to third.
