Thurston Named ASUN Defensive Player of the Week

CHARLOTTE, N.C. – Queens University of Charlotte midfielder Ainsley Thurston has been named ASUN Women's Lacrosse Defensive Player of the Week, the League announced today. It is the fourth Player of the Week honor for the Royals this season and the first for Thurston. The midfielder helped lead the Royals to their first program win over Liberty over the weekend totaling seven ground balls and five caused turnovers to lead Queens' defense.
