Warhawks pull away from Ike
MERTON — Arrowhead’s baseball team broke open a 3-3 tie with four runs in the bottom of the fifth inning as it went on to win its season opener over New Berlin Eisenhower 7-3 in nonconference action Monday. Cameron Carter went 2-for-4 with a double and two runs scored, while PJ Hamel and Jacob Lorbecki added two hits and an RBI apiece. Carter Scott also scored twice for the Warhawks, while Graiden Liethen got the win in relief, allowing one earned run and striking out three over three innings.
