Women’s Tennis Collect OVC Weekly Award

Tweet #WinTheMoment BRENTWOOD, Tenn. - Sophomore Aleyla Wooten has been selected as the Ohio Valley Conference Tennis Player of the Week. The nomination marks Wooten's second weekly award in three weeks. Last weekend, Wooten went 2-0 at No. 2 singles, allowing the Panthers to secure a point against SIUE (6-3, 6-2). In addition, Wooten improved to 5-0 in conference singles play after a 6-2, 6-1 win against her opponent from Tennessee State. Looking ahead, the Panthers will close out regular conference play tomorrow (Apr.10th) at Southeast Missouri. Matches are scheduled for at 5:30 p.m.
