Women’s Tennis: Macalester Blow Past Saint Mary’s, 8-1

ST. PAUL, Minn. – The Macalester College women’s tennis team held its first match at Hayden Courts this evening, welcoming the Cardinals of Saint Mary’s to town. The Scots dominated the match, and won 8-1. Macalester is now 8-3 (3-1 MIAC). At first singles, senior Sydney Ellison (Birmingham, Ala./Spain Park) took the first set 6-0. In the second set, it was close, but she came out on top 7-6 (7-1) to take the point.
