Baseball suffers 18-8 loss against William Jewell
MARYVILLE, Mo. -- The Northwest Missouri State University baseball team dropped its midweek matchup with William Jewell, 18-8. Northwest's record dips to 17-22 overall, while William Jewell improves to 17-15 overall. William Jewell struck quickly in the opening frame with two runs on one hit to lead 2-0. Ryan Williams reached base on a throwing error by the Cardinal third basemen, giving Northwest its first base runner of the afternoon.
