Elysia Pool named Sun Belt Player of the Week

NEW ORLEANS – South Alabama women's tennis player Elysia Pool has been named the Sun Belt Women's Tennis Player of the Week, the conference announced Wednesday. The honor is the first of her career. Pool went 2-0 in singles action over the weekend, both from the number two singles spot. In Saturday's match vs Marshall, Pool gave the Jaguars a 2-0 advantage over Marshall with a win from court two, beating Emma Vanderheyden 6-3, 6-1.
