Girls lacrosse: Oregon edges Bay Port for first win
The Oregon girls lacrosse co-op suffered a loss in its season opener, but rebounded with a 7-5 nonconference victory over Bay Port on Saturday, April 6, at Stoughton High School. Oregon (1-1, 0-1 Badger) started its season with a 12-7 Badger Conference defeat to Madison Edgewood on Thursday, April 4, at Breese Stevens Field. Senior Charlotte Hendrickson had five of the Panthers’ seven goals against Edgewood. Senior Alexa Bartels added two goals. Sophomore goalie Sam Siget collected 10 saves in net.
