Lucy Olsen enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard

With their superstar Clark graduating, the Hawkeyes will be without the player who led them to consecutive NCAA Tournament championship game appearances. Clark’s scoring ability cannot be duplicated, but Olsen can certainly put up some gaudy offensive numbers of her own.

Iowa will lose key contributors alongside Clark with Molly Davis, Gabbie Marshall and Kate Martin also leaving, but they do have starters Hannah Stuelke and Sydney Affolter returning so there is still a strong group. Add a strong recruiting class and the Hawkeyes still look like a formidable team even with the loss of Clark. If Iowa can land Olsen, her scoring could potentially be enough to lessen the blow of Clark’s absence while also keeping the Hawkeyes in contention over the next couple of seasons.
