Lucy Olsen enters transfer portal: 5 landing spots for guard
Ohio State
While Iowa rightfully got most of the headlines in the Big Ten due to Clark and its run to back-to-back NCAA Tournament championship games, the Buckeyes quietly won the regular season conference title. Ohio State has made three straight NCAA Tournaments and went to back-to-back Sweet 16s in 2022 and 2023 so they have a quality program. With guards Jacy Sheldon and Celeste Taylor both exhausting their eligibility, there is also a clear need in the Buckeyes’ backcourt.
In addition to Ohio State’s needs, Ohio also borders Olsen’s native Pennsylvania so it’s not a far distance for the guard from her home state. If Olsen is interested in joining a top-contending Big Ten program, the Buckeyes would be a hard one to resist, especially given the clear need on the roster.
