Macy Hanus Named MAC Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week

TOLEDO, Ohio - Senior Macy Hanus of the Toledo women's golf team has been named the Mid-American Conference Female Scholar-Athlete of the Week, the league office announced today. Hanus currently holds a 3.922 grade-point average as a finance major. A Bowling Green, Ohio native, Hanus set a school record and tied for second place to lead the Rockets at the Dolores Black Falcon Invitational over the weekend. Hanus finished at two-under par-142 at the par-72, 5,911-yard Stone Ridge Golf Club, one shot better than Pinyada Kuvanun for the lowest 36-hole total ever in program history.
