No. 6 Women’s Lacrosse Outlasts No. 21 Shenandoah, 7-5

LEXINGTON, Va. – The sixth-ranked Washington and Lee University women’s lacrosse team used a 6-0 run during the second and third quarters to defeat No. 21 Shenandoah University 7-5 on Wednesday night. The Hornets (9-3, 4-2 ODAC) went up 3-0 in the first quarter but the Generals (11-3, 7-0) defense held SU scoreless for 34.5 minutes to regain control of the Old Dominion Athletic Conference contest.
