Virginia Beach, VA – On April 6th, 2024, the Virginia Wesleyan University softball team hosted its 14th annual Strike Out Cancer event. This event is in honor of Head Coach Brandon Elliott ‘s mother, Elaine F. Sears. The event raised a whopping $32,026 for the American Cancer Society. Last season, we were the No. 1 Relay For Life team in South Hampton Road.
