Women’s Lacrosse Defeats Albright Lions on HEADstrong Game
CHESTER, Pa. – Widener women’s lacrosse dominated the Albright College Lions 15-3 on Wednesday. This was the Pride’s Faculty Appreciation Day and HEADstrong Game. The HEADstrong Foundation offers financial, residential, and emotional support to families affected by cancer. The Pride are 6-6 in the regular season. They are 2-0 in conference play. BY THE NUMBERS Catherine Scott led the Pride with four goals. Jamie DeHaven had three. DeHaven had a team-best three caused turnovers and tied for the team-high two draw controls.
