Andrea Alvarez Tabbed OVC Female Golfer of the Week

Andrea Alvarez of the Lindenwood women's golf team has been named Ohio Valley Conference Female Golfer of the Week as announced on Thursday. The native of Mexico finished tied for fifth at the Jan Weaver Invitational this past week in Murray, Ky. Overall, the team finished third. Alavarez compiled a total score of 227 (74, 80, 73) across three rounds of golf. The 227 was a season-low for a three-round tournament, while the final round 73 was also a season-best round.
