NEWARK, NJ | The Rutgers-Newark baseball team dropped its 7th game in a row after falling to New Jersey City University, 8-3, in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) action on a rainy Thursday afternoon. Rutgers-Newark (15-12, 0-7) was held to five hits and committed three errors while scoring three runs in the conference loss. Gilroy Prial returned to the lineup and finished 1-for-2 with three walks and two stolen bases. Matthew Storch (1-for-3) and Michael Weinbel (1-for-3) tallied an RBI each for the Scarlet Raiders.
