Cal State San Marcos Track & Field Teams Ready for Trio of Meets Featuring Record-Breaking Performances
SAN MARCOS, Calif. – The Cal State San Marcos men’s and women’s track & field teams will have a trio of meets it will compete at this week as it heads to Azusa Pacific for the Bryan Clay Invitational taking place on Friday and Saturday, Long Beach State’s Beach Invitational on Friday and Saturday and La Verne’s Leopard Distance Carnival on Friday. LAST MEET Rasha Badrani broke the 16-year-old school record in the 400-meter run with an NCAA provisional of 54.75 seconds – .71 faster than Samantha Showns’ 2008 time of 55.46.
