Former Schuylkill Valley field hockey star Kelsi Lykens honored at West Chester

Former Schuylkill Valley High School standout field hockey player Kelsi Lykens was inducted into the West Chester University Athletics Hall of Fame on Saturday. Lykens, who graduated from Schuylkill Valley in 2010, was a two-time All-American for the Rams, helping them win back-to-back NCAA Division II national titles in 2011-12. Lykens is now the head field hockey coach at Lehigh University in Bethlehem. At West Chester, Lykens was named the Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference player of the year and the Division II Honda Award winner in field hockey in 2013.
