Gordon Paces Heptathletes on Day One at Azusa
AZUSA, Calif. – The Hawai'i women's track and field team opened competition at the Bryan Clay Invitational Thursday with day one of the heptathlon. Sammie Gordon led the way for the four Rainbow Wahine in the multis event competitors, leading Group C with 3,258 points through four events. Gordon capped off her day by lowering her own school record in the heptathlon 200m dash, clocking a time of 24.46 seconds to beat her previous best by .57 seconds and move into 10 th all-time overall outdoors at UH.
