Islanders Tennis Fall Short to Lamar 4-3 in Nail-Biter Showdown
CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – In the final regular season match of the year, the Texas A&M-Corpus Christi men’s tennis team couldn’t edge out a tough Lamar team and fell just short 4-3 Thursday at the Thomas J. Henry Tennis Center. The Islanders (15-7, 2-2 SLC) opened with the doubles point and battled down to the last court and unfortunately couldn’t get past Lamar’s (8-11, 1-2 SLC) singles in the narrow 4-3 decision.
