Lady Marauders win 12-inning marathon: Marcus defeats Plano West in thrilling fashion, takes over 1st place in 6-6A

THE COLONY – Determining who between the Marcus and Plano West softball teams would take sole possession of first place in District 6-6A took 48 hours, at least three time changes and two venues. With lightning in the area Monday night forcing the game to be suspended in the top of the 10th inning and wet field conditions at Marcus on Tuesday forcing the contest to be relocated to The Colony, both teams finally settled their three-day marathon on Wednesday evening.
