LEXINGTON, Va. - Head Coach Nathan Shearer and the Washington and Lee University wrestling team earned the seventh-highest team GPA and nine individuals were named National Wrestling Coaches Association Scholar All-Americans by the association on Wednesday afternoon. W&L was among 100 institutions honored as the team combined for a 3.720 GPA. Of the 418 individuals honored, the Generals nine tied for the seventh-most among DIII programs.
