Barnes, Dann, McBirney Place at Silfen Invitational

NEW LONDON, Conn. – Three members of the Bridgewater State University men’s outdoor track & field team placed during day one of the Silfen Invitational hosted by Connecticut College. Senior Exondus Barnes (East Providence, R.I.) placed second in the long jump with a leap of 21 feet, 9.5 inches (6.64m). Senior Jason Dann (Reading, Mass.) hit for a PR in the discus throw as he placed third in the event with a toss off 147 feet, five inches (44.94m).
