Baseball Battles Weather as Maccabees Fall at SJLI
PATCHOGUE, NY – Braving the harsh Long Island climate, the Yeshiva baseball team traveled out to St. Joseph’s University Long Island, falling to the Golden Eagles by scores of 17-0 and 22-2 on Friday, Apr. 12. Offensively, the Maccabees saw their scores run in by Avi Cohen and Aden Frohlich , while Eli Zirdok’s bat proved the most effective with two hits and an RBI. Frohlich also had a stellar day on the mound, tossing 1.2 innings while allowing just three hits and zero earned runs. With the losses, the Macs are now 0-20, 0-14 in conference play. HOW IT…
