Baseball Falls to Georgia Southwestern in First Game of Series
AMERICUS, Ga. - The Columbus State University baseball team lost 6-13 to Peach Belt Conference rival Georgia Southwestern State University on Friday evening in Americus, Ga. Georgia Southwestern out-hit Columbus State 14-9 and the Cougars recorded five errors. The Hurricanes took a 5-0 lead over the Cougars by the second inning, but Andrew Rubin put the Cougars on board with a two-run home run in the top of the third.
