Big Third Inning Propels Yellowjackets to Rout of North Central
MINNEAPOLIS – After having a long win streak snapped in the first game of Tuesday’s doubleheader against UW-Stout, the Yellowjacket softball team is hoping to start another one. The ‘Jackets got back in the win column with a marathon, extra-innings win in Tuesday’s second game, and have now won two in a row, following Friday’s 16-0 rout of North Central at Xcel Field Park. With the win the Yellowjackets improved to 15-7 overall and are a perfect 4-0 in Upper Midwest Athletic Conference (UMAC) play.
