Broncos drop home doubleheader to Westerners
NMMI Sports Press The Broncos didn't get their typical offensive output Friday against visiting Western Texas College, while the Westerners' bats stayed busy, scattering hits across the NMMI Ballpark and sending seven long balls over the outfield wall as the Institute dropped both contests to start the four-gamer. Only the three Bronco starting outfielders managed multiple hits across both games, with sophomore leftfielder Bernie Socarras going 4-for-6 with a triple, two runs scored, a walk and two strikeouts.
