Charleston Southern Takes the First of a Three-Game Series Over Gardner-Webb

CHARLESTON, S.C. – The Gardner-Webb University baseball team fell to Charleston Southern University on Friday night by a final score of 7-5. It was the first of three-games the Runnin' Bulldogs will play against the Buccaneers this weekend. Following an early CSU 1-0 lead, Gardner-Webb took a brief 2-1 lead in the second with Tommy Tavarez and Peter Capobianco reaching home on an error at second base.
