Cruz, Spargo Post Wins For Track & Field At Stevenson Invitational

OWINGS MILLS, Md. – Nelly Cruz and Sammie Spargo won the 100-meter hurdles and the 3,000-meter steeplechase for Loyola University Maryland track and field on Friday at the Stevenson Invitational. Cruz became the fifth-fastest woman at Loyola in the 100 hurdles, winning a wind-legal 15.65 seconds to claim the victory. Spargo finished first in the steeple, racing to a time of 12:06.60.
