CSUSB Women’s Track & Field Shines at California State LA Twilight Open

LOS ANGELES, Calif. – The California State University San Bernardino women’s track & field team notched four first-place finishes as they competed Thursday at the Cal State Los Angeles Twilight Open. A school record fell in the triple jump, where junior Emily Nguyen (Westminster, Calif.) eclipsed 11 meters for the first time in program history, leaping 11.03 meters to win her event and break the school record of 10.87 meters previously held by Valentina Sanabria, which had stood since April 2019.
