Despite Sanders Smash, Knights Drop Game One at LIU, 12-6

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The FDU Knights (13-18, 9-6) took on the LIU Sharks (13-16, 11-5) to start a three-game series on Long Island that resulted in a 12-6 loss for the Knights. Graduate student Brian Sanders drove in three of the six FDU runs on the day with a blast over the left field wall. This shot was Sanders’ second home run of the 2024 season.
