JACKSON, Tenn. - The Jackson-Madison County Hall of Fame held its annual induction ceremony on Thursday night at the Carl Perkins Civic Center where Asmar Hasan and Jersey Cabana were recognized as the Lane College Athletes of the Year. The two student-athletes were recognized for their outstanding accomplishments during the 2023 calendar year. Hasan, a linebacker from Atlanta, Ga., was the top defender in the SIAC with 118 total tackles (11.8 per game). The junior accumulated 67 solo tackles and had 14 tackles for loss.
