Miners Scratch and Claw Past Bearkats, 3-0, to Pick Up 20th Win

EL PASO – UTEP softball delivered an impressive performance on Friday night at Helen of Troy Field, shutting out Sam Houston, 3-0, to notch their 20th win of the season. This marks UTEP's first 20-win season since 2018, when the team finished with a record of 21-33. UTEP improves to 20-13 (6-7 Conference USA) while Sam Houston drops to 15-24 (4-12 CUSA). UTEP's performance was nothing short of spectacular as the Miners used a strong offensive showing in the later innings.
