NEWARK, NJ | The Scarlet Raiders’ baseball team’s losing skid continued this afternoon at Weequahic Park as they fell in New Jersey Athletic Conference (NJAC) action, 5-2, to New Jersey City University. Rutgers-Newark (15-13, 0-8) scattered five hits and tallied two errors to go along with two runs. Connor Baksh (3-1) picked up his first loss of the season in five innings with three earned runs and one strikeout. At the dish, Paul Recchia (1-for-5) and Eric Recchia (1-for-4) brought in the two runs for Rutgers-Newark. NJCU (8-15, 3-5) completed the sweep of the Scarlet Raiders for the first time…
