Solid Efforts Pace Corsairs at Silfen Invite
NEW LONDON, Conn. – The UMass Dartmouth women’s track and field team saw four student-athletes in action on Friday night, competing at the Silfen Invitational at Connecticut College. Pacing the way were collegiate-best efforts from three different Corsairs. The night opened with the 800-meter run as sophomore Tori Schweitzer ran to 18th overall with a time of 2:44.70. The 1500-meter run was next as junior Julia Latura notched a collegiate-best time of 5:18.69 to earn an 18th place finish.
