Texas A&M-Corpus Christi Adds New Assistant Coach with Impressive Volleyball and Academic Background

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas – The Texas A&M-Corpus Christi volleyball team announced the addition of Mauri Carver to its staff as an assistant coach. No stranger to the conference, Carver joins the Islanders after spending the previous season as the volleyball assistant coach at New Orleans where her primary responsibilities entailed blocker development, middle hitter development, equipment, travel coordination, statistics, and scouting. Carver simultaneously helped the Privateers’ Athletic Department in an academic capacity, providing academic services for women’s basketball, men’s & women’s tennis, men’s golf, and beach volleyball.
