Baseball Runs Win Streak to Eleven With Doubleheader Sweep of St. Joe’s Brooklyn Saturday

(April 13, 2024) – The U.S. Merchant Marine Academy baseball team put two more games in the win column this afternoon with a doubleheader sweep at Bartoszek Field over the St. Joseph’s-Brooklyn Bears. USMMA beat the Bears 4-0 in Game 1 and 8-6 in Game 2 to win their tenth and eleventh games in a row. With the sweep, the Mariners improved to 15-8 (6-0 Skyline) while the Bears fell to 6-17 (2-6 Skyline) in defeat.
