MEQUON, Wis. – The Rockford University baseball team lost both its games on Saturday at Concordia University Wisconsin. Game one was an outstanding pitchers’ duel between Rockford’s Paul Turelli and CUW’s Zach Slome. The Regents and Falcons combined to allow just six hits in the game, while striking out 15 batters. Kadin Bergstrom belted his seventh home run of the season, but CUW responded with single runs in the fourth and the fifth en route to winning the opener 2-1. The nightcap belonged to the Falcons.
