Boxers, Bruins split pitchers’ duels at George Fox
NEWBERG, Ore. — Governor Aufranc had the best game of his young Pacific career. On the mound, the sophomore held George Fox to just two hits and one run over five innings to lead the Boxers to a 5-2 victory Saturday. Pacific got another pitching gem from senior Shane Melrose in game two, but the Boxers couldn’t getting anything going offensively, falling 1-0.
