Waukesha, Wis. – The Thunder baseball team traveled to Wisconsin on Friday evening to start a three-game series against the Carroll University Pioneers (8-14, 3-4 CCIW). Carroll scored a pair of runs in the eighth inning to break a 2-2 tie and give the hosts a 4-2 victory. Wheaton (7-15, 1-6 CCIW) returns to Lee Pfund Stadium in Carol Stream on Saturday to close out the three-game series against the Pioneers.
