Centre women surpass Sewanee on Senior Day

DANVILLE, Ky.- On Saturday morning, the Centre women’s lacrosse team hosted Southern Athletic Association’s (SAA) Sewanee for their 2024 Senior Celebration. After a close, 60-minute battle, the Colonels downed the Tigers 21-20, securing the second seed heading into the SAA Tournament. HIGHLIGHTS – The Tigers opened the scoring early, tallying the first goal a minute in. In the next possession, senior Emma Botts evened the score before Sewanee trailed away with three unanswered goals.
