DeQuevedo, Stephens Pace Yellowjackets at SMU Invitational

WINONA, Minn. – The Yellowjacket women’s track and field team returned to action Saturday, competing at the St. Mary’s Invitational. It was another week featuring a tough field, and another week where the Yellowjackets made a strong showing as a team. Leading the way was freshman Simone Stephens (Scottsdale, Ariz./Saguaro) . The Arizona product won the 1,500-meter run, using every inch of her 5-foot-11-inch frame to edge teammate Halle Barker (Superior, Wis./Superior Senior) .
