Despite Strong Start for Mattioli, Knights Fall to Sharks 3-2

BROOKVILLE, N.Y. – The FDU Knights (13-19, 9-7) continued their three-game series against the LIU Sharks (14-16, 12-5) with game two resulting in a 3-2 loss for the Knights. Junior right-handed pitcher Chris Mattioli picked up his first career start for the Knights. Mattioli pitched a solid 6.2 innings striking out five of the 27 batters he faced on the day.
