Eagle Tennis Teams Lose At Home To Cavaliers

On Saturday (April 13) afternoon at the Deborah Liebert Karl Tennis Complex, Ashland University's men's and women's tennis teams lost on Senior Day to Walsh by identical 6-1 counts. The Eagle men are 11-5 overall and 1-5 in the Great Midwest Athletic Conference, and Walsh at 10-9, 3-2, while the AU women are 11-8, 1-5, and the Cavaliers 10-11, 3-2. In the men's match, freshman Batsomi Marobela won at No. 2 singles (6-3, 0-6, 6-1), and at No. 2 doubles, sophomore Rodrigo Moura Ludgero and junior Fabian Bussard took a 6-1 decision.
