Excellent Starting Pitching Gives Baseball SUNYAC Doubleheader Sweep; Gonzalski Tallies 100th Career Hit
SALAMANCA, N.Y. – The Plattsburgh State baseball team used two strong starts from Kolby Mordecki (Poughkeepsie, N.Y./Roy C. Ketcham) and Chris Santic (Stony Point, N.Y./North Rockland) to pick a doubleheader State University of New York Athletic Conference (SUNYAC) sweep over Fredonia. Graduate student Conner Gonzalski (Cicero, N.Y./Cicero-North Syracuse) also homered and doubled twice on the day, achieving the 100-hit mark for his career.
