Chicago State University Vice President and Director of Intercollegiate Athletics Dr. Monique Carroll accepted head men's basketball coach Gerald Gillion's resignation. Gillion was 31-64 (.326) in three seasons at Chicago State where he authored the Cougars first win over a team ranked in the Associated Press Top 25 and oversaw CSU's first-ever Division I postseason victory.
