Illinois State Track & Field Shines at Bryan Clay Invitational: Mathis Chavand Sets New School Record
NORMAL, Ill. – The Illinois State track & field squad completed day two at the Bryan Clay Invitational in Azusa, California, hosted by Azusa Pacific University. The second day of competition was highlighted by a top-15 finish by senior Baptiste Tardiveau in the 5,000m run and Mathis Chavand breaking the 5,000m program record. Bryan Clay Invitational Mathis Chavand broke the school record with 13:48.14 in the 5,000m, while beating his personal-best by 30 total seconds.
