Kevin Givone Shines in Javelin Throw at Bison Outdoor Classic

LEWISBURG, Pa. — The spectacular start to the outdoor season continued for Kevin Givone (Nazareth, Pa./Nazareth), as the sophomore tossed another NCAA provisional mark in the javelin as the Kutztown University men’s track & field team competed at the Bison Outdoor Classic hosted at Bucknell on Saturday. The Nazareth native finished third in the event with a throw of 60.88m (199’9″). It’s Givone’s third NCAA mark of the young season and his third-straight top-three finish. His 62.35m (204’7″) throw last weekend at the Millersville Metrics is the second-best in the Atlantic Region and 20th-best in the country entering the weekend.…
