Lacrosse Battles, Falls 26-11 at Mercer

MACON, Ga. – All good things end, and unfortunately for Longwood lacrosse, the team's five game winning streak came to an end at Mercer on Saturday morning. The Bears (8-5, 5-0 Big South) used seven points apiece from Gabby DeVirgilio and Caroline Glus to outlast Longwood (7-7, 4-1 Big South) 26-11 thanks to a big third quarter. Kendra DeFelippo scored a career best three goals for her first collegiate hat trick, and Holly Hill added two goals and three assists.
